~ Weekending ~

Wild Flower

Well I'll be darned if I am
sun starved.
I spun up some new fresh and fun colors
in hopes the sun would peak out.
 n.o.t.  s.o.  m.u.c.h.

So instead of enjoying the sun this weekend I'll be:
super fun!

Making dinner with friends on Saturday

Trying out some new bread pudding recipes with Pierre for Basecamp menu
 well...taste testing-
Pierre can do the cooking.
Movie with the kids on Sunday

Well I'm off to see Fiona
 and maybe who knows....
 I might just get a
Cloud burn

What are your weekending plans?

  1. Cannot recall weekend plans... too absorbed in the sunkissed colors of your beautiful yarns. They look as though they could chase gray clouds away.

  2. What beautiful yarns you are spinning! I hope they warm your soul even though the sun won't sun!
Me? I am deep in tax work when I really want to be at the beach!

  3. beautiful yarns camilla, i hope they do make the sun come out for you. it's cold and foggy here too, but thats always good for knitting yes? miriam looks like a fun pretty pattern, which color are you making it with? enjoy your weekend! some of my kids are coming! it's birthday time!

  4. Gorgeous yarn Camilla! It has been so wonderful here we've been mountain biking and road biking every chance we get. Heading out between rain drops this weekend! Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Best to base camp too!

  5. sending you some sunshine as we have more than our share :)

and the yarns are gorgeous. you inspire me to dust off my wheel and get back to spinning!

  6. let us know how the bread pudding turns out! i hear you on the sun business! it was 70 here this weekend but 'sposed to get cold again! so dang. but the sun was hefty and it did me good!

    have a lovely, my dear.

ps. not sure if you saw my notation on last post...i DO think the book that max was reading was over his head a bit, it will 'move' him more at an older age for sure but we'll see how far he gets....he has about six books going at once which drives me crazy, but that's his way and he usually plows through them...

  7. I love your sprout yarn, such a gorgeous green. I wish I was a test taster for the base Camp puddings, yum! I hope it is all going well.

May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
