Yarn along

 Knitting project started this weekend:

I am using my own hand dyed yarn
 from

" Luna "

80/20 Merino - Bamboo
Super soft with a lovely sheen.

Not reading much these days- I love non fiction...any suggestions?

What are you knitting?

Do you have any yarns especially for hot weather? I have no idea what to use, but I
know I need something as the heat and humidity here are really horrid!

    1. Hi Tracey...unless you knit with something of the same fiber as the "Emperors new clothes" ...maybe find some lovely linen- cotton blend?
I'll never forget finishing up a wool fairisle sweater for my girl in 90 degree heat- gotta loveit.

non-fiction: hm, i love non-fiction books too, i've been reading a lot of farming related books such as Barnheart by Jenna Woginrich. Also I'm currently reading Pioneer Women: Voices from the Kanas Frontier. It's fascinating!

  9. That colorway is so pretty and soothing. My daughter just told me that I need to read Soaring with Fidel by David Gessner about our Ospreys migrating to Cuba I guess. She cannot stop talking about it! Must be good. :)

May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
