My new cardi is coming along
my own pattern...keeping it simple and letting the yarn speak for itself.
Now for the buttons...this a another story-
a gift from my friend Ann in Norway
or maybe...
these lovelies from my friend Nancy in New York
what do you think?

What a pretty knit Camilla and while both sets of buttons are cute, I really like the set for NY, but then I really like flowers.
ReplyDeleteI know you have to read all of the comments. . .and you answer them too. It all takes time. Good thing you are a fast knitter.
ReplyDeleteI love the cardi.
I think I would go with the violets for buttons. I love the cardigan.

Love the cardi! Your overdye on that yarn is fab!! I'm an outlier, as I really, really like the buttons from Norway...I like the little violets, too...tough decision...maybe make another cardi?? :)
ReplyDeleteand the yarn does speak beautifully! such a pretty knit. i love the buttons from norway :)
ReplyDeleteLove the yarn and the pattern is cute! If you want gender neutral go for the first buttons, if you want girly girly feminine, go for the second. They are both beautiful and would look stunning on the sweater!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! Buttons, I like them both, and think they would both look lovely, but if I have to pick one it would be the violets.
ReplyDeletewhat a fun choice camilla! i love your cardigan and buttons. how special to have friends send you some. and that quote, that's me too!
