Yarnalong
Happy Wednesday!
I am knitting the Oaklet shawl in rose tones with one of my own yarns from Twist & Twine .
Crossing off one more thing this year on my bucket list. Fly fishing. Started reading The Orvis Guide to Fly Fishing and taking class from a guide in Whitefish...can't live in the State of "a river runs thru it" with out fly fishing!
So what is on your needles this week?
Joining Ginny for yarn along.

Very pretty yarn. I would love to knit shawls for my girls. Maybe after I finish their skirts.
ReplyDeleteAwesome about the fly fishing - my husband and i both agreed that that is something we will enjoy doing together when our children get older.
ReplyDeletelove your shawl in that beautiful yarn.
I have a photo of my dad fly fishing in ID that I love. Good luck with your new pursuit. Lovely yarn - you have such talent. I am eager to begin a shawl with some of your yarn. Just waiting for the complementary color to arrive and the first clue in a mystery pattern. Squee, I am excited.

DeleteFly fishing is on my husband's bucket list! I gave him a rod many years ago, but sadly is is still unused. Maybe a flyfishing class as an anniversary gift would be just the thing.

Beautiful yarn, the colour is lovely. Fly fishing, cool, have fun!
ReplyDeleteStill working on a pair of socks and the simple sweater. It feels like a slog fest. Would love to learn how to fly fish. In fact we just bought some fleece to make flies. I thought it would be a good summer project for one of the boys!
ReplyDeleteOoh pretty colours - that will make a lovely shawl.
