Friday Inspiration

These past weeks I have been pondering the word
 "change"
and realizing how weary I am of it.
For some reason it does not sit well...makes me a little nervous to even say it.
Lately I think there has been so much of it in our household
kids growing up and in all directions, the cafe, horses ...the list goes on.
Maybe mostly a change in direction what I do creativily.

The course Creative courage is helping me along the way- to discover or rediscover other creative ideas that lead me in directions that are more inspiring and full filling than the ones in the past
if....
I am open to a little change.
I found this wonderful website workshop I wanted to share with you...it has so many fun and interesting classes available
Maybe you would like to brush up on your sewing skills or learn book binding,
mixed media or jump into some felting?

Maybe this will bring a little
Friday Inspiration
to you or someone you know that needs a little or new creativity?

To celebrate "Change" here is a video of my new favorite group out of Colorado

Churchill
"Change"
....how perfect.

This professor is so eccentric I hope he never changes

Have a lovely weekend

Love to all
 Peace out beansprout!

  1. Change is word I have never liked, ever. Maybe it was because we moved every year as I was growing up [21 times in 18 years] or maybe it's something that was just me, but I have always liked things to stay the same. As I have gotten to the ripe old age of 49 I now realize that change is part of life and I am trying to embrace it with as much class and grace as I can.
Thank you for the link to Creative Bug, I must pay a visit. There are so many changes happening here and I need something!

  2. Change is hard, and can be very challenging when you are not open to it. I struggle with change as I like things to be as they are. But I have discovered if I open myself up to accept what will be the shift is usually a little easier. Thanks for the links :) Happy weekend.

  3. Beautiful song - thank you for the tip. Ahhh change - such a tough one. Last year my word for the year was stretch, because I don't like change. It was a year so full of change I almost felt stretched out. Right now I too am yearning for a little less change. Just trying to realize without change there is no growth, so I must adapt and just keep smiling.

  4. i think you are like the butterfly emerging, how exciting to find new things to love. i have tried my hand at most everything drawing, sewing, watercolors, needlefelting, embroidery, so much more, and it's true there is so much joy to be found in all. everyso often one of these things or something else will call out to me, but wool and needles has always been my first love since i was 6 years old. we are so lucky to have so many things to love!

May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
