Imagine sunshine

It is the artist's business to create sunshine when the sun fails.

There is a little gazebo in "Duck Park" that is covered from top to bottom with beautifully handmade ceramic tiles that local kids have created. When I feel a little wintry blue it's a lovely little space to muse at all the special designs and words. Their art & imagination brings a little sunshine for the soul on grey days.

Do you have a little place where you can imagine sunshine?

  1. What lovely place to visit and see some of the beauty our youth can create.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could trade places for a little while? You could have your sunshine and ocean and I could have a little bit of winter...and I do dishes!

  2. What treasures you see there. Such talent our youth have. I hope some of them held on to that passion and continue to create something as they get older. Sunshine for me can be found in natural treasures found in a walk outside.

May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
