Weekending

So Friday chef came home these....
 my favorite
 Tulips

Knowing that he has to fix this:

Chef...is so busy with the cafe renno
there is no time to fix "the brokens" at home.

It finally came to a halt after months- decades of riggers tape
coming off the handle

- it just finally unhinged.

I think even the microwave had enough
 gave up
surrendered

wondering at times how much radiations it spits out being broken????

So this weekend we are ripping the back splash out
and replacing it with old tin and a brand spanking new micro wave
 woo hoo!

yep I know, it's the little things in life...hehe

And of course Fiona
my pockets are filled with apples

She gets a break on the weekend from working during the week
  getting stronger and fit
lunging with a bridle and saddle with the stir ups dangling along side her
so there is lots of progress.

I still have to pinch myself....

Kids are all doing so well in school
they are in for a treat
we are taking them to lunch at the old soda fountain place in town.

If you go
Ivey is having a giveaway
I was so smitten by the line of natural products
I bought a few.

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

  3. Camilla,
What can I say? Well, I took some time to catch up on your blog. So lovely, it all is inspiring. Love Fiona! Lucky girl!
I am so enjoying knitting with your wonderful colorful yarns.
I just wish I were an octopus. Never enough time to do it all.
The blessing below is gorgeous to my soul.

  4. Isn't that the way? What is that old saying...the shoe makers children have no shoes?! I know how that goes...I am still waiting on the treash holds for two doors and the rest of my baseboards to be put in [I won't say how long I've been waiting].
    Your horse is a beauty!
Love hearing your children are doing well, that makes the world so much brighter doesn't it? Enjoy your outing and the rest of the weekend.

May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
