Yarnalong

Cardi c'est fini!

using the"over dyed yarn"

It was a fun little project.
Very simple pattern I made up as I knit along.
using garter stitch and elongated seed stitch/moss stitch.
I kept it simple letting the color shine thru

I think what I am happiest about is the fit and also that I re- dyed yarn that would other wise not be used for maybe socks?

I did use Anns puter buttons
I think they look beautiful against the blues and greens.
The wool is so soft that this will be easy
favorite to wear on colder nights.

No books today
to busy working on Base Camp Cafe
- I dive into bed at night.

What are you knitting?

Joining Ginny today.

  1. I love it! I love how bright and 'happy' it looks. You have pattern designer on your resume'? Awesome!
Being too tired to read at night must mean life is overflowing, that's a good thing!

  3. Those colors really do shine through! Great job on the overdye! I tried overdying some raw silk. I'm not entirely happy with the outcome. Some day when I thaw the black walnut dye I have in the freezer, I'm going to try it again. (:

May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
