fini!
Just in time for mothers day...whew!
I finished the last stitches at dinner time, mom had no idea.
I used my own hand dyed merino yarn
a Lingonberry red and Pine green
happy the the hand dyed created a little extra depth.
I am reading this...I am sucker for anything Montana and enjoy reading about the past
makes me for one appreciate how blessed I am.

Your Mama is one lucky Mama! I know you must have enjoyed your well spent time with her. I love it that you love her so!
I have missed you. Glad to see you back. Funny thing was I was running past the computer to do something important and I took a peek and saw your icon and clicked. Uh Oh. I am in the middle of painting a fence and left my brush on the top of the bucket, so, do gotta go. Can nor wait to see your answers.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Sothia Shawl! I've made a full-size version (like yours), a modified full-size shawl, and three partial/mini shawls - I just can't stop making this pattern (I've started making them to give away). I wish you'd used a commercial yarn, instead of your own, because now I can't go out and get the same thing and make one just like yours (I'd have to keep it for myself - it's just too pretty; I'd never want to give it away). Lovely job!
