to the sea...well, almost.

Follow the river and you will find the sea

Well...not really- Flathead river runs into Flathead Lake.
It certainly felt like a raw, cold wintry day by the ocean as I can remember.
Beautiful sand to walk on and views for miles.
The Flathead indians used to reside here in Big Fork .
What a wonderful day we had with our 2 boys and letting Lily run loose- next time we are bringing lunch!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend discovery

Love to all
 Peace out beansprout.

  3. So much beauty. So, if I were able to figure out how to take a trip to your area of the country, what are my must sees?

    1. Me! No, just kidding.
Glacier Park, Bigfork, Whitefish & Big Mountain...(Base Camp Cafe)endless possibilties. There is so much for families to do around here, rafting, swimming, fishing, hiking, horseback riding. There is also Missoula and Bozeman- Museum of the rockies (dinasours) and Lewis & Clarck Caverns. The one thing we are big on is the outdoors- we don't have the same "arts & culture" resources like on the east coast.
Montana is a great place to explore the outdoors and stretch out.

  4. OMG, it's all so beautiful! I think packing a picnic would be a lovely idea.
We stopped at a little sandwich shop for lunch during our trip, but now you have me thinking next time to pack a picnic and eat at the shoreline.
    Have a beautiful weekend.

May the Warm Winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your Mocassins
Make happy tracks
in many snows,
and may the Rainbow
Always touch your shoulder.
