Best store bought cookie!
by Kashi.
Not too sweet and 1 cookie is like a meal
...amaze balls if you ask me
no guilt- absolutely not.
Found a clever way to do my prints
easier than the lino cut
...and yes, I am up to something
So what is your new favorite(s)?
How wonderful to be dyeing again!
ReplyDeleteAlso, what materials did you use for the printing? That looks like such a great idea.
Thanks for sharing the inspiration,
Tonya
Wow, some great things in this post. The soap looks divine, and you are dyeing, can't wait to see what you are up to with it :)
ReplyDeleteare you dyeing again???? wow! Love the soap and enjoyed clicking the links :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the skin care recommendation Camilla, my skin needs help!
ReplyDeleteWith the weather bouncing all over the place, along with my hormones, my skin
could use a little extra attention so I will have to try this out.
Can't wait to see what you're up to!
I spy dye!! Can't wait to see what you are up to.. I have some daffodils flowers soaking on the back porch. Need to do a bit of reading before I attack! Did order a few new colors from Dharma Trading for the wools... can't wait to try them out. LOVE your stamps. love.
ReplyDeleteooh we have a lot in common! love derma e, prana (we have a prana store here!) and artisan soaps, i'll have to try roots. love your print making and WOOL. yes! this was a fun post i have a lot of favorites and especially LOVE getting mail!
ReplyDeleteI love the things you have there! Well my favorites are (were!) Twist and Twine yarn, mandala painting, yoga stuff of all descriptions and of course soap too!! x
ReplyDeleteSo many links to explore!! My current favorite thing is chocolate chip, brown butter, nutella and sea salt cookies!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!! :)
The last pic had me saying a mental "yay!". Your yarn is beautiful, I've kicked myself several times for not purchasing any while I had the chance!
ReplyDeletePlease explain the printmaking?? I am trying to make my own stamps for mixed media art and having a really hard time finding things that will make a nice print/stencil and not bleed to the other side. I would welcome your findings!
ReplyDeletePlexiglass & wonder foam found at Dick Blick art supply. Once you apply your ink- turn it over to the textile/paper and use a rolling pin to apply even pressure. The other thing you can do is use "soft kut print block" and speedball carving tools also found @ Dick Blick. Good luck!
DeleteOh my...those printmaking props have me very very intrigued!
ReplyDeleteLove everything here. I am a huge fan of homemde soaps too. I need a new skin care regime, thank you for sharing yours.
ReplyDeleteYou know I love the last pic best! :)
